Julia Haussener (licensed tourist guide for the city of Rome and Lazio), after her studies of pictorial restoration and archeology, never returned to Switzerland, her country of origin, but remained in Rome not because she was in love (as you might think ) of a Romeo, but of the majesty of this city.
Despite her many years spent in the shadow of the Colosseum, Julia is struck every time she observes a Roman sunset and, at the same time, fascinated by the warm and welcoming light of the city, its ancient monuments, its squares and fountains that tell us a thousand and more anecdotes, from the museums and countless churches, adorned with unmistakable domes and precious works of art, from the Tiber and the places scattered along its course. Not to mention the Roman cuisine and, in particular, the Jewish artichokes, chicory, gricia and carbonara. Ultimately, Julia’s purpose is to transmit this visceral love to you too, so that you can fall in love and then return to the Eternal City even later, if only for the sake of throwing yet another coin into its famous Trevi Fountain.
