The tour starts right from this extraordinary square, a crossroads of modern Rome and stage of events that have deeply marked Italian history. Here the eye is immediately caught by the majesty of the Victorian, also known as the Altar of the Fatherland, a symbolic monument of the Unification of Italy.

The tour continues inside the historic Palazzo Venezia, one of the most important Renaissance buildings in the city. Once a papal residence and Venetian embassy, the palace was also the center of political power in the twentieth century. Relive centuries of history, art and urban transformation.
Tickets are free for children aged 0 to 2 years. “Reduced” tickets include children aged 2 to 18 and students up to 25 years of age. To obtain a reduced ticket, an identity document is required. Students must have a valid student ID or International Student Card.
Anyone purchasing a reduced-fare ticket and/or service without proper authorization, or failing to present documentation for the reduced price, will be required to pay the full price for a new ticket and/or service. Tickets purchased are non-refundable.
